Key Responsibilities
- Preparing bank reconciliations on a timely manner
- Compiling, analysing, and reporting financial data
- Posting updates, and/or retrieving accounting data from automated systems
- Keeping VAT records and preparing quarterly VAT report
- Preparing monthly, quarterly semi-annual and annual reporting to the regulators
- Filing and archiving accounting documents
- Liaising with external auditors and other external advisors
- Preparing and updating of expense schedule and reviewing the company’s budget
- Any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience in the FX industry will be considered an advantage but not a must
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and Cyprus VAT and Tax
- Knowledge in ERP/ Accounting Systems
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Excel (formulas, spreadsheet formulation)
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Excellent organization skills, time management skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Excellent command of the English language
